42 fender noiseless pickups wiring diagram
I recently wrote a guitar guide for beginers in which I introduced the single-coil pickup with a picture of fender's noiseless pickup from the American Ultra Strat as an indicator. I sent the guide to other guitarists to check if there was anything wrong and someone told me that I should not use the noiseless pickup picture because he said the extra technology used for noise reduction actually makes it a humbucker. I am so confused cuz FENDER ON THEIR WEBSITE call it a noiseless SINGLE-COIL pi... I installed a set of hot noiseless pickups in my stratocaster and the bridge pickup barely produces any sound. The neck and mid pups sound great and work correctly. I did some searching and found that it is a seemingly common issue with those pickups, but I did not find a potential solution. For context, I installed them in a 2013 deluxe strat with the S-1 switch, but I replaced the S-1 volume pot with a standard pot, and kept the S-1 pickup switch but re-wired it like a standard pic...
